The name floin consists of two parts, “FL” and “oin”. In a sense, it is a kind of a portmanteau. The “FL” stands for Fürstentum Liechtenstein (Principality of Liechtenstein), the home of Floin and the “oin” is a part of the word “coin”, a word that perfectly represents the crypto space. Liechtenstein as our home stands for legal certainty and experience in Finance. The coin represents our young and fresh approach to the FinTech-driven crypto and token space.
